HOMELESSNESS ACTION TEAM
This is a solvable problem.
MISSION
At the Claremont Colleges, HAT focuses on raising awareness about homelessness, reducing stigmatization, and connecting students with volunteer opportunities in the community. We are homeless rights advocates who work primarily in the City of Pomona and surrounding counties.
Vision
HAT’s vision is to end homelessness on a local and national level by providing homeless persons permanent supportive housing and needed support services.
Action
As members of the Executive Board of Pomona Continuum of Care Coalition, we are supporting efforts to establish another shelter on Mission St.
Values
We believe that homeless people need permanent supportive housing and we support organizations with this common goal.
